A homegrown mix of some of Maryland’s most talented young musicians, The Oliver Unger Band, along with special guest vocalist/guitarist Morgan Gonce, offers up the hottest Blues tunes, funky Jazz and R&B you’re likely to hear anywhere. Featuring Ricky Jefferson on organ, Morgan Gonce on guitar, Jordon Stanley on drums, and band leader, Oliver Unger on bass, the band’s technical wizardy and funk heavy vibe will keep you on your feet dancing.

Oliver Unger is an up-and-coming Baltimore-based musician who, at just 17, has had the opportunity to work with such accomplished musicians as Carl Flipiak, Noah Pierre, Tony Hancock, Amanda Lynne, Mitch Treger, Too Much Talent, Bachelor Boys Band, Kraig Greff, Conor and the Wildhunt. He is versed in Jazz, Funk, R&B, Soul, Rock, Pop, etc.

Oliver released his first album, Broken Staircase which entirely consists of Solo Bass Music, and is currently working with his musical peer Sebastian Stinnett on a new album with their group Japan By Him. Morgan’s musical journey began at age 5, when she received her 1st electric guitar. Proving to be destined for the stage, Morgan has performed for crowds of all sizes from intimate venues to national baseball stadiums. Although Morgan is only 15, her soulful tone and passionate playing is way beyond her years captivating audiences of all ages with her guitar solos and improvisational skills. Morgan draws inspiration from greats like Bonnie Raitt, The Allman Brothers, Susan Tedeschi/Tedeschi Trucks Band, The Marcus King Band, B.B. King, and Muddy Waters.
